Ribeye was the best i have had in for ever had a1 on hand and did not even need it wow would go agen 4 sure

Good tasting food but a little pricey given the smaller portions/servings. Great atmosphere. Great service.

Ordered on the salad bar. Salad was fresh. Restaurant was very dirty, bathroom was absurdly disgusting and toilet had a wooden seat teeming with germs. We won't be dining at dirty Dan's again

No. It's not good. The Steaks are not Hand Cut as advertised. And it's expensive.

Yuk, it is nasty, the steak was overcooked, the cheese fries were cold. They asked if we wanted some hot, hot rolls... wow, yes please. They were King hawaiian rolls, that were cold. The croutons were mushy like they had sat in water. Not a repeater

The special was actually 'special' priced and delicious. Servings were very generous and our waitress was amazing.The selection on the salad bar was better the I've seen in my travels. Great dessert selection too.

We got the buffet. The food was good. But not for the price. The steak was way over cooked. I did like the salad bar part tho.

Tell you they will accommodate food allergies but when you food comes out it is not safe .. you send it back they bring it right back say it is fixed my husband didn't think so but the owner said he took a bite and his throat swelled had to go to er the owner Dan said oh just let me know how u get... We paid full price for the meal had to send 2 people meal back and they still had season and carrots and came back again just wiped off...bad service

Delicious salad, Friendly service wit juicy steak very prompt and prepared correctly.. Served 4 people wit a new server did well... Got my vote to be back for when out of town or’s travelers come through Woodward,Oklahoma.. Thnkz

Steak was cooked to perfection(medium). Baked potato was fresh, and hot. Salad bar was phenomenal. We ate there on a Thurs evening

Always friendly and helpful staff that go above and beyond. If your steak ISN'T as you ordered, the boss will cook it himself or adjust your ticket. We always visit them when we are in town, love them!

For a 30.00 meal not much to it. Thin ribeye 15 fries and forgot the toast. Salad bar was slim picking. People were friendly.

Excellent food and service!Out of towners passing through on way home to CO. Dan's was recommended to us by a local at nearby store. Prompt, efficient and very hospitable service. One of us had the NY Strip steak and she thought it was fantastic. I had the salad bar with the side bar of entrees. Everything was hot and delicious! I would have liked to have tried everything, I couldn't because there was more selections than my stomach could hold. No way. There is something there to please every member of your family including the finiky eater. Go, relax and enjoy the commaraderie and hospitality of a true "locals' " place. Dan came out and made social rounds, talked to us a bit. He really gives you a heartfel, warm welcome and makes you feel like a part of the big Woodward family. We will arrange our future trips to drive through and make a stop there again. Hopefully on Friday night to enjoy some crab!

The salad bar has a good variety. The chicken fried chicken sandwich had great flavor and had a good size to it. My wife ordered the 1/3 lb. burger and fries and it had great flavor as well. She likes the salad bar more than I do because of the nostalgic throwback it has to K-Bob’s.

Food was good service was ok need some work in that department

I can not say enough about Big Dan's chopped steak. I have never had one seasoned quite like that! I will be back many times over! Thanks for the great meal!

My steak was great, but my friends chicken fried steak was high school grade.

Salad bar is always AMAZING! Steak was perfect and Cajun chicken breast was good. Waitress took very good care of us.

If u like stake on your salt go for it you'll love it

The cold salad bar was okay but not sure the price was right for the lacking selection of basic salad items. The steaks in the hot bar were over cooked and tough and the peel and eat shrimp was a bit mushy (probably from frozen). The staff was courteous enough but I expected WAY more since it was billed as "where the locals eat". I hope Woodward actually offers better, otherwise the locals standards are too low... No offense to the locals...

Completely over priced on seafood night. Baked fish was almost inedible. Hit and miss on the crab legs. Salad bar was lacking and EGGS WERE BROWN AND GREEN. $69 for 2 seafood/salad bars and 2 waters OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE AND NOT GOOD

Steak was coke perfect! They know exactly how to cook a steak to order. HUGE salad bar with many types of pasta salad as well. Portions on the meals are huge and was fast and friendly service. Waitress seem pretentious but that was barely noticeable as I was infactuated with the food. Clean place as well including the restroom. 5 stars for sure!!!

So so restaurant. The build up in the travel magazine left us with higher expectations. Salad bar was fine but definitely tasted like prepared salads out of a box or tub. The vegetables looked fresh. Soup tasted like it was out of a can.

We were told to go for the salad bar and wow what a great salad bar. We stopped for an early dinner so didn't order anything from the menu but loved all the delicious food available on the salad bar. A vegetarians delight!

You won't find better service anywhere. The food is great, too!

I'd go back but I'd advise away from the hot bar. At $22 plus the cost of a drink, it just wasn't worth it. I'd go off the menu instead. That being said, the food was decent, the staff was friendly, and it wasn't a bad choice.

I'm digging the shrimp and the steak. Ribeye with bake potatoes salad bar is good sweet tea too ...............kinda always busy so gotta make a strong presence. Fast wait staff thanks guys

It's not every day you see the owners working the floor and the kitchen too just to make sure their customers have a great experience. I see their names everywhere as they are big supporters of community events and the public schools here. THAT makes them great people who care about their community! Keep up the good work!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! I ordered chicken fried steak and was served a processed, breaded patty! At a steak house!!! When it was placed in front of me, I told the waiter, wait this isn't chicken fried steak. She said, yes that is what they served. YUCK. Someone else in our party ordered the 'special' pork chops. So dry they couldn't eat it. We cut it all up and took it to feed our dog. Needless to say, the dog turned her nose up to it. I AM NOT KIDDING. Never will go there or recommend it to anyone.

Big Dan's is an excellent place to eat! Very friendly service and great food! Location is good as well on the south end of Woodward close to Walmart.

One star for the fact I can't put no stars. It's hot, it's stuffy, steaks are small, sandwiches fall apart looks like my 6 year old made it, fish has no flavor, everything seems like it's great value food frozen and reheated. Tried to eat here 3 times now since there aren't so many places to eat but I'm done thinking it was a fluke this place is really bad all the time. Also their "famous" salad bar is unkept and disgusting and if they wash their lettuce and spinach you could have fooled me.

Took my family here for my mother's birthday as she loves the salad bar. The salad bar was great, which was good, as the service has never been this bad before. Dan himself barking orders to staff while trying to cool tensions between employees. Not an enjoyable atmosphere! Salad was great, but my 76 year old grandmother said she has never eaten a more raw steak, and my mother quietly ate her salad and asked for a box for the steak as it was seared on the surface and completely raw on the inside. She thought she would finish cooking it later. Of course I was eating fajitas without tortillas while trying to not move out of fear my chair was going to collapse, and didn't hear their steaks mooing on the plates over the vacuum cleaner. The staff were busy with fire and electric company guys, but doubt they will be much longer if that is the NEW normal!

Best service i have ever seen, i thought i died and went to heaven. Reminds me of the productivity of the Communist regime in the Soviet Union ;)

We went there for supper. The service was great and the environment was good. The food was mediocre at best. We got the salad bar buffet and it didn’t have any meat for the salads and really didn’t have a lot of good toppings. The pasta salads were okay. Originally, we went in so we could try the seafood buffet, but the hefty price of $29 and the fact it didn’t look good we decided not to do that. My husband got a steak and it wasn’t awful, but it’s not something he is going to want again. We are vacationing and probably won’t choose to eat there again.

Steak was cold and under cooked, rolls were cold. The salad bar is very good. I will not visit again should have stuck with Mexican food as our choice.
